A Reliable Daily Sedan
For my office routine in Riyadh, I wanted something practical, and the Kia Cerato has been exactly that. The 1.6L engine is smooth, not very powerful, but more than enough for daily city use. What I really appreciate are the creature comforts: Android Auto, good AC, and seats that stay comfortable even in long traffic jams. The boot space is surprisingly big, so grocery trips are easy. The car is also light on fuel which helps with rising fuel bills. It may not feel as luxurious as an SUV, but for someone who drives a lot every day, it’s easy to handle, especially with its light steering. I can park it anywhere without stress, and that’s a win.

The Family Favorite
My uncle’s Corolla is our trusted family car. We use it for school runs, big grocery hauls, and weekend trips. Even with five adults, the interior never feels cramped, and the trunk is huge for a compact sedan. Suspension soaks up most road bumps; A/C keeps everyone cool. Fuel efficiency is top-notch, especially in heavy traffic. Engine isn’t sporty but quietly does the job. Dad insists on Toyota for easy maintenance and strong resale, which matters here in KSA. Tech is simple, but all essentials are there. It’s the stress-free family ride.
